One other thought. The card spread directly infront of him has 2 red cards surounded by black cards on either side. I carn’t quite see, but i’m guessing the other red card next to the King of hearts, is the 3 of hearts. With the suggestion of ‘don’t now pick the 3 of hearts’, the decision of the ‘king’ was pretty straight forward. The suit however, see my other posts below.
Angle of card spread. Look at the shape the four objects form (glass, cards case, cig pack, spread of cards) from 1:36 to 1:38. Pause it. If stephen fry looks straight down at that moment, he’s got the red diamond crinkled table cloth in the background, plus the broad outline image of a K created from: (the card spread + the crinkled line from the middle of the card spread down to the wine glass). He also sees a king directly in front of him, conveniently placed in the middle of the spread.
anyone notice his hands when he is talking to stephen? its the shape of a heart at 0:38 and right after he does the hand guesture when he says “do light up” signify a k? just thoughts

@FordPerfect: and also when he say “big 3 and a big heart” he raise a hand, then the other to make the sensation of adition, 10 + 3 = the king. and also he is making the atention to focus his head on the center (the king on the center). Maybe….Maybe that`s just a random conection i did, because i believe that he use suggestion but maybe wath i just said makes no sense…and also my english is really bad. xD

To add to the subtle system of suggestion, look at the diamond shape his hands combine to make at 1:24, then tells him to burn it in.
